Geriatric Care

Helping people remain independent at home is our top priority. Capital City Nurses provides all levels of geriatric care-from a friendly visit to advanced care for Alzheimer's clients. Our care providers are specially trained to work with older clients.

  • Care Assessment. Our quality care begins with a thorough evaluation of a client's individual needs. We help our clients assess their circumstances and requirements and provide them with options that meet their short-term and on-going needs. Our nurses are specially trained to create and monitor a care plan to ensure that clients are always receiving an appropriate level of care-we work in partnership with other members of the client's medical team and family.

  • In-home Care. Capital City Nurses' in-home services allow our clients to remain independent in their own homes. Our nurses are available for live-in or hourly services and provide every level of care the client may need.

  • Nursing Home and Assisted Living Centers. Special care and attention is available for individuals staying in nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, or assisted living centers. Regular visits from a Capital City nurse provide dedicated one-on-one care for clients. Our care providers can also help ease the transition into a new living environment.

Capital City Nurses also provides these services to help older people remain independent and living in their own homes:

  • Housekeeping
  • Doctor Visits
  • Meal Preparation
  • A "Daughter Down the Street" Service-our surrogate daughter service
Capital City Nurses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide care in many different settings. Call 1-866-687-7307 to discuss your options with a placement coordinator.
